Nexus COD League Season 2 is officially here, featuring a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool (growing up to $4,000), expanded 8-player rosters, and a faster group-play format across three divisions. With the Mid-Season Tournament returning and registration opening soon, it's shaping up to be the biggest season in NCL history.
Bigger Prize Pools. Faster Seasons. More Opportunities to Compete.
After an exciting inaugural season that brought together organizations, players, and fans from across the amateur Call of Duty scene,
Nexus Gaming is proud to officially announce Season 2 of the Nexus COD League (NCL).
Built on the lessons learned from Season 1 and shaped by direct feedback from players, captains, and organizations, Season 2 introduces significant improvements designed to create a more competitive, more accessible, and more enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
With a $2,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool, the opportunity to grow to $4,000 in total prizes, expanded roster flexibility, and a streamlined season format, Season 2 is shaping up to be the biggest season in league history.
"Season 1 proved there is a demand for a league where preparation, professionalism, and competitive integrity matter. Season 2 is about taking everything we learned and creating an even better experience for players, teams, and organizations."
— DrJayPeezy, CEO, Nexus Gaming

- Each team plays every team in its group once.
- Division-wide playoff seeding across all groups.
- Expanded rosters from previous limits to 8 players per team.
- Return of the Mid-Season Tournament.
- Potential separate cash prize for the Mid-Season Tournament.
- Up to $4,000 in season prizes.

A Shorter, Smarter Season Format
Rather than requiring teams to play every team in their division twice, Season 2 introduces group play. Teams will be placed into groups of eight and play each opponent in their group one time. This creates a shorter season, reduces scheduling demands, and makes every match matter more. Playoff seeding will be determined across the entire division, ensuring strong competition from opening week through championship weekend.
Expanded Rosters
All teams may now carry up to eight players on their active roster, providing organizations with greater flexibility for substitutions, scheduling conflicts, and strategic roster decisions.
The Mid-Season Tournament Returns
One of the most popular features of Season 1 is back. The Mid-Season Tournament will once again award valuable season points and may feature a separate cash prize pool. Additional details will be announced during the season.
